Latin Percussion LP208 LP Vibra Slap II ljudeffekt
Allmänt
The Latin Percussion LP-208 is the famous Vibraslap, invented by Latin Percussion themselves. It consists of a hollow wooden sound box with metal teeth, connected to a wooden ball. By striking the ball with the palm of your hand, you produce a rattling sound that might just be the most popular sound effect ever. Its warm, bright sound can easily be adjusted by turning the sound box.
Latin Percussion Vibra Slap II: Origins
The renowned American brand Latin Percussion is a real innovator, and manufactures a wide variety of patented percussion instruments. In fact, their very first patent was filed for the Vibraslap. Historically, people created this rattling effect by striking the jawbone of a horse (though not still attached to said horse, of course). Those jaw bones were quite fragile, so Latin Percussion created this wooden version, which is much more durable and slightly less difficult to obtain.
